About The Position

The Proposal Administrator plays a critical role in driving business development by leading the coordination, development, and submission of high-quality, compliant proposals. This position partners cross-functionally to ensure client requirements are clearly understood and translated into compelling, accurate, and competitive responses that reflect the organization’s value and capabilities. The role is instrumental in positioning the company for growth by delivering polished proposals that align with strategic objectives and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in proposal management, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proposal management software.
  • Strong Excel skills are a must. The ability to perform v-lookups, pivot tables, and basic Excel functions will be a part of daily duties.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy benefit management principles, healthcare regulations, and industry trends is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the entire proposal development process from initiation to submission.
  • Review requests for proposals (RFPs) and other client documentation to understand requirements and scope of services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, account management, pharmacy services, finance, and legal to gather relevant information and inputs.
  • Ensure adherence to proposal timelines and deadlines.
  • Analyze claim data in Excel, including cost projections and drug pricing comparisons.
  • Conduct research on client-specific healthcare trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements to tailor proposals accordingly, if needed.
  • Utilize analytical tools and software to generate insights and support decision-making.
  • Draft proposal content including executive summaries, service descriptions, pricing models, and implementation plans.
  • Customize proposals to address client needs and preferences, highlighting key differentiators and value-added services.
  • Create visually appealing presentations and collateral to enhance the overall quality and impact of proposals.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and edits of proposal documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with RFP requirements.
  • Verify pricing calculations, contractual terms, and legal language for completeness and correctness.
  • Coordinate internal reviews and approvals with stakeholders to finalize proposals for submission.
