Come join our growing team! 29th Street is seeking a Property Technology Project Manager to lead technology execution across property acquisitions, dispositions, third-party management onboarding, and portfolio-wide technology initiatives. You'll own the complete technology lifecycle for asset transactions — from pre-acquisition due diligence through integration and eventual disposition — managing telecommunications infrastructure, network systems, hardware deployment, property management system migrations, and vendor coordination. Success requires understanding both real estate asset lifecycles and operational technology execution. You'll build standardized playbooks that bring structure and repeatability to a high-volume transaction environment, produce clear reports for deal teams and executives, and serve as the operational bridge between corporate IT and property-level execution Acquisition & Disposition Technology Management Lead technology due diligence for acquisitions, managing vendor teams conducting infrastructure assessments to identify technology risks, integration requirements, gaps, and cost implications for deal teams Manage end-to-end technology integration for acquired properties including telecommunications infrastructure, carrier transitions, network deployment, hardware lifecycle management, and property management system migrations Produce technology assessment reports and business recommendations with cost projections for executive leadership and transaction stakeholders Develop and execute technology cutover planning and transformation roadmaps for acquisitions, dispositions, and third-party management client onboarding to minimize operational disruption Technology Project & Infrastructure Management Lead portfolio-wide infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, property management system enhancements, network infrastructure projects, hardware refresh cycles, and technology implementations that drive operational efficiency Manage telecommunications and carrier relationships including contract negotiation, service provisioning, SLA management, network infrastructure deployment, multi-site connectivity initiatives, and project budgets throughout the lifecycle Process Development, Change Management & Project Governance Design, implement, and maintain project management workflows using enterprise PM platforms (Monday, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar) as a system administrator Develop standardized processes, playbooks, transformation roadmaps, and operational frameworks that bring structure to complex technology challenges and enable consistent execution across transactions and initiatives Manage risk throughout project lifecycles - document risk, develop mitigation plans, and provide path to resolution Build cost-benefit analyses and metric tracking for technology initiatives Vendor & Stakeholder Management Evaluate, manage, and coordinate technology vendors including MSPs, telecommunications carriers, due diligence contractors, and project-specific resources to ensure accountability and delivery Serve as primary technology liaison between corporate IT, property operations, deal teams, executive leadership, and external partners, translating technical complexity into business impact Navigate complex organizational structures and align cross-functional stakeholders to technology execution timelines and requirements WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE UNIQUE This role sits at the critical intersection of real estate transactions and technology execution, requiring someone who can operate with significant autonomy in high-stakes, ambiguous environments. Every acquisition brings a new property with inherited infrastructure, existing vendor contracts, and an immediate integration clock. Every disposition requires clean transfer and termination. You will manage a high volume of concurrent property transactions, each at a different stage of the lifecycle, while simultaneously running portfolio-wide technology initiatives. You'll design the playbooks, own the vendor relationships, and execute the work — often at the same time. This is not a role that separates strategy from execution. You will assess a property's technology environment, make recommendations to the deal team, build the integration plan, and see it through. If you've built out locations for a hotel portfolio, stood up technology for a senior living operator, or managed property onboarding for a multi-site real estate platform, you'll recognize this work immediately. If you're energized by operational ownership, comfortable making decisions with incomplete information, and experienced running technology at the property level in a fast-moving transaction environment, this role offers direct impact on deal execution and portfolio operations at a growing national real estate platform.

Requirements

5+ years of project management experience, with at least 2 years managing technology implementations, integrations, or infrastructure projects at the physical location level
Experience in multifamily, hospitality, senior living, or multi-site retail managing property or location-level technology transitions — including inheriting existing infrastructure, integrating into corporate systems, and managing vendor transfers on acquisition and disposition
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent formal PM certification
Hands-on familiarity with IT infrastructure fundamentals — including networking, hardware, telecom services, and vendor management — combined with the ability to manage data migrations, configure and administer project or property management systems, and serve as a technical super user
Demonstrated experience implementing and configuring project management platforms (Monday, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar) as a system administrator and power user
Strong communication skills with ability to translate operational and technical details into business-level reporting for executives and deal teams
Proven ability to operate as both strategic thinker and tactical executor - independently diagnosing problems, designing solutions, and personally executing critical work without established playbooks, oversight, or safety nets
Track record of managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities, tight deadlines, and complex stakeholder environments
Ownership mentality with ability to build processes from scratch and execute without established frameworks

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience with property management systems (Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, or similar) including implementations and data migrations
Background in telecommunications infrastructure, carrier management, network architecture, or hardware lifecycle management with understanding of multi-site connectivity requirements
Understanding of commercial lease requirements, telecommunications service agreements, and regulatory compliance in real estate
Experience working in transaction-heavy environments coordinating across distributed teams without direct authority
Data-driven with proficiency in analysis and building executive-level reporting
