About The Position

Property Portfolio Manager Location: Pittsburgh (with some local travel) Salary: $54,000-$65,000 annually Ready to step into a role where you actually have ownership, influence, and room to grow? Arbors Management is looking for a driven Property Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of conventional residential properties in Pittsburgh’s South Hills area. With over 40 years of property management experience, Arbors offers stability, strong systems, and a leadership team that supports you while trusting you to run your portfolio like a pro. You’ll be out in the field, building relationships with owners, residents, and vendors—solving problems, improving properties, and making a real impact.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple properties and deadlines
  • Solid computer skills and comfort with property management software
  • Working knowledge of property management, leasing, and maintenance operations
  • Calm, solution-oriented mindset—especially in high-pressure situations
  • 3+ years of experience in market-rate (conventional) leasing or property management
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a Pennsylvania Real Estate License
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable personal vehicle
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background screenings

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or higher in Business or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for property owners, providing regular updates on budgets, occupancy, and maintenance need
  • Oversee tenant management, including inspections, lease compliance, late fees, and evictions when necessary
  • Manage emergency repairs, including after-hours situations, ensuring issues are handled quickly and professionally
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and contractors
  • Ensure all properties in your portfolio are well-maintained, safe, and welcoming for residents
  • Balance office work with on-site property visits across your assigned portfolio
