About The Position

Position: Property Manager Location: Fairmont Arbors in Fairmont, WV Annual Salary: $55k+ based on experience Based in Pittsburgh, PA, Arbors Management has been a regional leader in property management since 1982. Requirements

  • Experience: At least 3+ years in property management (specifically Section 8/HUD experience is highly preferred).
  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, OneSite, AppFolio, etc.) and Google Suite.
  • Local Heart: A commitment to being a positive presence in the Fairmont, WV community.
  • Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Must have or be willing to obtain PA Real Estate License within one year of employment
  • Capable of passing criminal background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Compliance Leadership: Oversee all aspects of HUD Section 8 compliance , including certifications, recertifications, and maintaining the waitlist in accordance with Fair Housing laws.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage the property budget, collect rents, handle accounts payable/receivable, and ensure the financial health of the community.
  • Resident Relations: Work closely with our senior residents, addressing concerns with empathy and resolving conflicts professionally.
  • Operations & Maintenance: Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure the property is clean, safe, and that work orders are completed promptly.
  • Inspections: Lead the team through REAC/NSPIRE, MOR, and local agency inspections with a high standard of excellence.
