About The Position

Join Our Growing Team as a full-time Property Manager at Richman Property Services (RPS), Inc., in Austin, TX! This Property Manager position is eligible for our "Texas Stay Program", which is designed to reward commitment, celebrate milestones, and financially support RPS new-hires along the way! You will be eligible to receive up to $3,000.00 during your initial first year with RPS as follows: paid after 90-days $500.00, after 6 months, $1,000.00, after one year of service, $1,500.00. All bonuses are paid in conjunction with our regularly scheduled payroll timeframes and dates, and are taxable. Employee must be active at the time of the scheduled payout dates. Position: Property Manager Location: Carson Crossing, our brand new (currently in Lease-Up) 288-unit affordable residential community in East Austin (78744) As a leading residential property owner nationwide, we are committed to providing high-quality apartment communities that fill our residents with pride. Requirements

  • Minimum 4-5 year's experience managing high-volume multi-family residential affordable communities (TDHC/LIHTC). Affordable experience is a requirement for this position.
  • Familiarity with Yardi property management software products (Affordable versions)
  • Prior Lease-Up experience with new construction multi-family residential communities
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience; college coursework or training in Property Management preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the apartment industry with supervisory/management experience, especially new construction lease-ups.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing and Equal Employment guidelines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Property Management software (e.g., Yardi), strong communication, organizational, and analytical/problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Fair Employment Housing and EEO laws
  • Valid Driver’s License required

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English/Spanish speaking applicants a plus!
  • Prior experience managing mid to large-size upscale communities preferred
  • Registered Apartment or CAM Manager certification preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Manage the apartment community to achieve maximum marketing and financial results
  • Implement Company policies in leasing, accounting, maintenance, and resident relations
  • Supervise and motivate on-site personnel
  • Control budget objectives and expenditures
  • Perform market analysis and suggest competitive prices
  • Manage employee schedules, training, and performance evaluations
  • Coordinate resident services and activities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, federal and state regulations, and safety standards
  • Direct community maintenance and improvement initiatives
