The company is actively seeking an experienced and driven Property Manager for Palmetto Pointe, a 328-unit residential community situated in San Antonio, TX. The Property Manager role is crucial to the company's success, potentially involving due diligence, community acquisition/disposition, and participation in company-sponsored committees or functions. Ultimately, the Property Manager is responsible for the efficient operation of the property, reporting directly to the Regional Manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years working in the apartment industry as a Property Manager
  • Knowledge of RealPage/LRO and One-Site or similar systems is required
  • Strong customer service experience required
  • Background & drug screening are a requirement

Nice To Haves

  • The Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) certification is highly recommended for this position
  • College degree helpful but not required
  • Bi-lingual helps

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise office staff
  • Daily physical inspections of the property
  • Responsible for the property’s leasing
  • Thorough knowledge of company leasing techniques and sales methods
  • Full knowledge of property rental information
  • Operating the property’s budget within the company’s financial guidelines
  • Responsible for the interviewing, screening, and hiring of staff
  • Prioritizing all resident requests with an efficient and courteous response
  • Responsible for generating various company required reports
  • Collaborative design and implementation of a resident retention program, i.e., a newsletter, resident referral program or social activities
  • Responsible for securing at least 10% of the overall closed leases at the property
