We are looking for an experienced Property Manager to join our team in Waterbury, Connecticut. This position will be responsible for the day to day operations of a 63 unit affordable housing community. The successful candidate should be highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to work both independently and as part of a team. A working familiarity with the LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit) program is a plus. This position will report directly to the Regional Property Manager. Property Management responsibilities include but are not limited to: Marketing, waitlist management, and leasing Screening and recertifying tenants Rent collections and evictions Turnovers and move-outs Supervising on site administrative and maintenance staff Communication with residents and resolution of complaints and issues Handling emergency situations as needed Budget preparation Processing payables and receivables Inspections
