About The Position

We are hiring a Property Manager at Mutual on Main in Richmond, VA! This is a great opportunity to lead a beautifully restored historic high-rise in the heart of downtown Richmond. We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Property Manager who loves operations, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in running a community with high visibility and high standards.. In this role, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations, guide an on-site team, manage leasing and financial performance, and coordinate with vendors supporting major building systems like generators, elevators, and life-safety equipment. You’ll also manage two nightly corporate rentals, ensuring a smooth, hospitality-focused guest experience. The Property Manager of Mutual is perfect for someone who loves operations. You will lead a stellar team, elevate standards, and make a visible difference every day. We are looking for someone with: Proven experience as a Property Manager (multifamily preferred) Demonstrates confident leadership by coaching effectively, holding others accountable, and building a high‑performing team Strong knowledge of leasing, resident relations, budgeting, and collections Comfortable coordinating complex vendors and systems in a high-rise or operationally intensive building Organized, professional communicator with a service mindset Familiarity with RealPage or similar property management software Great benefits including both a quarterly and annual incentive bonus! Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Property Manager (multifamily preferred)
  • Must be familiar with and maintain compliance with all Federal, State, and local Fair Housing Laws.
  • Must have knowledge of sound management procedures and follow company operations manual.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage contracts effectively.
  • Familiarity with Real Page or similar property management software is a plus.
  • Excellent conflict management skills and customer service orientation.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent accounting and computer skills.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance related procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of resident/landlord relationships and laws.
  • Strong sales and leasing skills.
  • Maintain a high level of integrity, be trustworthy and hardworking.
  • Must have transportation and a valid state Driver's License.
  • Drug and background screenings.
