About The Position

The Property Manager at AHF's Healthy Housing location plays a crucial role in supporting AHF's mission by providing excellent service to tenants, prospective residents, and other visitors. This position involves managing living units, handling leases and forms, coordinating move-ins, and connecting families with necessary resources. The Property Manager is also responsible for maintaining the property, generating reports on building progress, incident reports, and safety/security reports, as well as collecting rent and updating the tenant database (AppFolio). Effective property management is essential for enhancing AHF's reputation, maximizing the use of the Healthy Housing Foundation, and increasing its capacity to serve more clients. The role requires adaptability and flexibility to handle various situations.

Responsibilities

  • Present a friendly, helpful face to tenants, people seeking housing or other visitors
  • Show living units
  • Sign leases and forms
  • Schedule move-ins according to scheduled work
  • Bring-in resources for the families
  • Set-up the rooms for the families and provide them with all necessary items such as the remotes and rules
  • Provide written reports on progress of the building
  • Complete incident reports
  • Complete safety or security reports
  • Collect rent
  • Update tenants database (AppFolio)
