About The Position

As Pittsburgh’s largest non-profit developer, ACTION-Housing exists to help people improve their lives by offering quality, affordable housing. We pride ourselves on helping all of our clients to achieve more self-sufficient lives. Since 1957, we’ve assisted a wide array of populations throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania, focusing on those generally underserved by traditional services including senior citizens, veterans, individuals with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, individuals on the autism spectrum, and youths who have aged out of foster care. To further our mission, we are looking for a Property Manager to join our Supportive Housing Management Services (SHMS). JOB SUMMARY Oversee the daily operations and management of various properties.

Requirements

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• Ability to handle finances and work within a budget.
• Word processing skills.
• Travel between multiple properties; reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly inspections of the physical property and follow-up on all maintenance work to ensure completion.
• Coordinate and supervise all activities related to the marketing and leasing of the property.
• Review all rental applications and lease forms for accuracy and compliance with resident policy.
• Collect rent and manage expenses.
• Prepare an annual operating budget for the property and review monthly financial reports related to the performance of the property.
• Maintain positive, productive relationships with tenants, community members, and professionals servicing the property.
• Conduct all business activities in accordance with appropriate regulations and ethical standards established by SHMS and the industry.
• Conduct annual inspection of all apartments.
