Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Residential property management experience preferred
  • Affordable Housing (Section 42) experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to perform physical property inspections (with or without accommodations)
  • Valid driver's license required

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to resident and employee inquiries
  • Maintain strong relationships with residents, staff, owners, and vendors
  • Supervise, train, and support onsite property staff
  • Manage operating budgets, capital budgets, and expenditures
  • Prepare monthly reports, lease abstracts, and data summaries
  • Ensure accurate invoice coding and approve payments
  • Review leases for compliance and accuracy
  • Oversee delinquency management and collection procedures
  • Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and unit turnover
  • Achieve occupancy goals and manage marketing in alignment with Fair Housing
  • Oversee all property inspections (Investor, HUD, State Agency, etc.)
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies when appropriate
  • Maintain compliance with Affordable Housing programs
  • Process move-ins and recertifications including income and asset verification

  • Perform other duties as assigned
