About The Position

LaVigne Enterprises specializes in the development, leasing, and management of office, retail, and industrial properties. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Management Assistant to join our team. This is a dynamic, hands-on role offering exposure to both the day-to-day management of commercial properties and the broader processes of real estate development. This role demands someone who is always ready to assist. You must be proactive, think on your feet and quick to resolve challenges. Duties also include executive personal assistant tasks to support the CEO. Requirements

  • Previous experience in property management, commercial real estate, or administrative support (1-3 years preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft productivity applications; familiarity with property management software is a bonus.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, professional, and client-service mindset.
  • High emotional intelligence: Remains calm and is quick to solve problems, leaving others at ease.
  • Innovative and creative: Quick to contribute to new initiatives and be creative in your work.
  • Able to work well with others and communicate effectively - quickly building trusting relationships is key.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of commercial lease agreements, building systems, and property operations is a plus.
  • familiarity with property management software is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of commercial properties, including tenant relations, vendor coordination, and service requests.
  • Maintain accurate property records, leasing documents, and maintenance logs.
  • Coordinate tenant move-ins/move-ours and ensure compliance with lease terms.
  • Assist in monitoring construction timelines and vendor deliverables during development and redevelopment phases.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as preparing correspondence, reports, meeting notes, and updating internal systems.
  • Frontline communication between CEO and others in and out of the organization.
  • Help facilitate communication between tenants, contractors, leasing agents, and internal teams.
  • Conduct occasional property site visits to support inspections and ensure building standards are met.
  • Other administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
  • Protect operations by maintaining highly organized and confidential files.
  • Assist tax manager with collection of tax work.
  • Bookkeeping including accounts payable and receivable and reconciliation.
  • Supporting personal financials, banking and investments.
  • Managing all personal property, vehicles and related insurance.
  • Organizing travel and events for personal and organization.
