About The Position

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional and detail-oriented individual for our Property Maintenance Specialist I position. This position is a Monday - Friday on swing shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm) and the starting wage is $20.00 per hour. Swing Shift positions will have a pay differential of $1.75 per hour. As a Property Maintenance Specialist I, a typical day might include the following: With close guidance, perform daily custodial maintenance duties of basic complexity including but not limited to sweeping, dusting, scrubbing, mopping, trash removal, and appropriate response to requests as needed. Assist with routine floor care including stripping, sealing/waxing hard floors, carpet spotting, and extraction. Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; perform routine maintenance as requested. Follow and continuously improve workplace safety, environmental practices, area processes, and waste reduction opportunities.
