About The Position

The role of the property maintenance assistant is to support the property management team in ensuring that properties are well-maintained and in good working order. In order to provide the highest level of service to the members at Gozzer Ranch, the Residential Services Transportation Driver will perform in the following areas:

Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience as maintenance or related fields
Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, and weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

Assisting with regular inspections and maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaks, and ensuring HVAC systems function properly.
Tracking maintenance supplies and tools and assisting in ordering new supplies as needed.
Helping with minor repairs around the property, which may include plumbing, electrical, or carpentry work.
Assisting in maintaining the exterior of the property, including landscaping, driveway and patio cleanliness and cleaning common areas.
Occasionally interacting with Residential Services staff to understand their needs and provide updates on the progress of work.
Keeping records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during projects.
Gaining hands-on experience and learning new skills under the guidance of the property managers.
Maintaining logs of maintenance activities and repairs, and reporting any major issues to the property manager or maintenance supervisor.
Coordinating maintenance and repair requests, scheduling contractors, and ensuring that properties are well-maintained and meet safety standards.
Interacting with residents to address maintenance requests and ensure their needs are met in a timely manner.
Providing access for vendors to residents
Ensuring that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain client confidentiality and privacy at all times.
Maintain a professional appearance, often wearing a uniform or business attire.
