About The Position

Supports operations at Arnold AFB. Serves as a key member of an integrated team responsible for the lifecycle management and disposal of government property, ensuring full accountability within an Approved Property System of Record (APSR).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Possess a valid state driver's license.
• Computer skills with proficiency in MS office programs.
• Ability to have or maintain a DOD security clearance.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Detailed documentation and compliance management.
• Inventory control and audit support.
• Cross-functional coordination and communication.

• Microsoft Access (database queries), Excel (data tracking/reporting), PowerPoint (presentations).

Responsibilities

• Manage reutilization, transfer, donation, and disposal of excess government property in compliance with federal policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Evaluate surplus assets to determine condition, value, and appropriate disposition method (reutilization, transfer, donation, or scrap).
• Create, update, and maintain accurate property records within the APSR to ensure accountability and audit readiness.
• Maintain Government-Furnished Property (GFP1, GFP2) and Akima Intra-Data property records, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with accountability standards.
• Process and validate documentation for all property turn-ins, including BCIT spreadsheets, hand-carried items, APRO communications equipment, and POD listings.
• Coordinate with government agencies, contractors, and transportation providers to manage and track property shipments.
• Serve as liaison with Government Property Administrators, Air Force CORs, Property Custodians, and cross-functional teams.
• Conduct periodic inventories of ADPE equipment (computers, printers, monitors) and radio/communications equipment.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports for Disposition, Delivery, and Hazardous Materials (HazMat) functions.
