About The Position

Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is looking to hire a detailed and proactive student to assist with property functions throughout the laboratory. The selected candidate will perform tasks such as data entry, conducting inventory, distributing supplies, moving equipment, and disposing of excess equipment. Student Scholar Program: SDL provides unique opportunities for student employees to develop real-world experience and knowledge beyond the classroom through our Student Scholar Program. This program offers monthly technical workshops, outreach activities, and academic stipends to eligible student employees. All SDL student employees are invited to participate in the program to expand their professional network while supporting SDL's mission. SDL delivers advanced multi-domain solutions to protect national security and enable scientific discovery. Our expertise in satellites, sensors and instruments, ground systems and data processing, and autonomous systems plays a critical role in missions supporting NASA and the Department of Defense. Requirements

  • Must be a student at Utah State University (USU) with at least one year of school remaining
  • Must be able to work for 20 hours per week during semesters and up to 40 hours per week during summers
  • Must have strong work ethic, dedication, and sense of ownership in their job
  • Must be self-directed and motivated
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other productivity tools
  • Must possess a valid US driver's license
  • Must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US, or other US Person
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. safely
