About The Position

As a Field Property Adjuster at Allstate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to policyholders by traveling to their homes to conduct on-site inspections, investigate coverage, prepare estimates, and settle claims efficiently. The role also involves handling virtual claims countrywide using platforms like Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration, with a particular focus on water losses. This position requires a blend of skills, acting as a Customer Service Expert who embodies Allstate’s Claims Culture through compassion, clarity, and commitment, leading with empathy. You will serve as an Investigator, independently reviewing damages and interpreting policies to determine coverage. As an Effective Communicator, you will engage with customers via phone, email, and video chat, offering preferred communication methods to keep them updated throughout the claims process. The role also demands strong Negotiation skills to evaluate and settle claims with customers, vendors, and third-party carriers, including handling complex situations. You will be a Problem Solver, utilizing various tools and critical thinking in a fast-paced environment. Finally, as a Recorder, you will ensure financial protection by adhering to policy agreements and maintaining timely and accurate documentation within the claims system.

Requirements

  • Residency within the posted location (Fayetteville, AR) is mandatory for this role
  • Willing and able to carry a 50-pound ladder
  • Willing and able to access up to a 6/12 pitch on a one to two-story roof
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel as part of the job requirements
  • Ability to obtain an adjuster and/or an appraiser license which includes passing an additional background check with the Department of Labor (if applicable, within 60 days of hire)

  • Utilize multiple tools to get the job done in a fast-paced environment, including estimate tools, job aids, and additional settlement platforms
