About The Position

Fairbank is a leading supplier of Agriculture and Propane parts and equipment, with 14 locations throughout the Midwest and Northwest. Fairbank has done "Whatever It Takes" to provide exceptional service and product knowledge to our loyal customers for over 75 years. We are seeking a motivated Propane Technician to support our customers at our branch in Caldwell, Idaho. This position will report directly to the branch manager.

Requirements

Previous knowledge and experience with propane products and equipment highly desired
Experience with basic black iron pipe threading
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, multi-task, organize and prioritize work
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with computers utilizing Microsoft Windows and related applications, as well as ERP order entry systems
Ability to work for long periods of time while standing
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 40 lbs safely and easily
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear
High School degree or GED required
Must be able to commute to Caldwell, ID 83605 or planning to relocate before starting work (Rquired)

Responsibilities

Assist walk-in or phone customers with the proper product selection and use of products based on specific needs.
Purchasing and maintaining appropriate retail bin and warehouse stock levels.
Assist in receiving, picking, packing & shipping customer and supplier parts.
Assemble and plumbing of dispenser cabinets
