Propane Service Technician/Driver

About The Position

Mercer Landmark is in search of a Propane Service Technician/ Driver for our Coldwater Energy Division. Position Summary: Responsibilities to include installing and maintaining customer and company propane systems as well as delivery of propane to customer locations.

Requirements

Must be licensed and insurable to drive. Must possess a clean driving record.
Must have or be able to obtain Class A or B CDL license with air brake, hazmat, and tanker endorsements.
Understand the importance of providing very high levels of customer service.
Understand the seasonality of the farm supply business and the in-season time commitment.
Must be able to interact and effectively communicate with customers and individuals at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

Conducts pressure tests to assure the integrity of the propane system prior to placing a system into service or in the event service is interrupted.
Maintains records of all regulators, including date of manufacture, and changes regulators as necessary.
Performs leak tests on customer systems as required.
Responsible for propane delivery to customer locations in an efficient, punctual and safe manner.
Customer service is our priority: Serve patron in a manner that promotes our company, promotes customer service and delivers our patrons the services they need to succeed with their operations.
Employee would also be responsible to work in and around our facilities to fill in as needed and physical labor is involved.
