About the Role: As a Project Manager Intern, you will assist with operational support to projects and take over some dedicated Project Management tasks related to scheduling and encourage the search for new ideas, to improve overall product cost competitiveness, for instance through serial materials cost reductions. We are seeking an intern or recent graduate to start as soon as possible and work on a year-round basis.

Requirements

• You are a student currently enrolled in courses pursing your Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field OR a recent graduate.

Responsibilities

• You will organize weekly Productivity Committee chaired by the Site General Manager
• You will assist with managing current production original equipment service simple changes (Components with mature technology, …)
• You will assist with ensuring TOP 10 actions are followed in the Productivity Committee every month including: savings (validated by finance), investment amount, detailed planning (target & actual), blocking points & decisions to be taken
• You will guarantee that implementation of all modifications follow existing procedures.
• You will maintain a productivity reservoir % level equivalent to 1.5 times of the budgeted objectives for the current year in all levers.
• You will support sales to convince customers to validate technical productivities.
• You will encourage suppliers to suggest productivity ideas and listen to what they have to say
• You will participate with the Site Production System Committee to challenge internal productivities coming from Valeo’s Production System workshop and record in Productivity Committee workshops savings, validated by finance.
