Requirements

  • BS in Project Management or Engineering from an accredited university or college
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 10-15 years of experience in Controls
  • Travel to customer sites as needed (10%)
  • US Citizen or Green Card required

Responsibilities

  • The Project Team Leader will be responsible for managing the project planner team, setting goals, and having employee discussions on career growth.
  • The Project Planners manage projects to highlight risks, drive project improvements, and maintain projects schedules.
  • The Project Planner will be working with engineers and customers to make sure their projects go smoothly.
  • Perform project management and coordination tasks, ensuring smooth communications and service delivery over full engineering lifecycle, between client and end users.
  • Build a team through hiring and training to support the customer and future initiatives
  • Be responsible for project planning and oversight of planned activities from beginning to end.
  • Keep track of work in progress, collaborate with suppliers, handle risks, and ensure projects are completed per schedule.
  • Service as customer advocate between internal technical teams and customer.
  • Hold the team accountable to manage and review their projects each week.
  • Provide weekly and monthly updates to the customer and Quest Global leadership on progress of deliverables.
  • Identify and prioritize customer issues and coordinate with internal team to do PSR, RCAs, etc
  • Lead creation and management of change control procedure, product roadmap, risk register and build release procedure.
