About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Project Task Manager (Remote). In this role, you will be responsible for managing a large cloud project, providing project management support for software releases, and operational task management. This position requires coaching scrum team members on Agile methodologies and ensuring the timely delivery of quality products. You will work in a dynamic environment and contribute to creating a collaborative and motivated team culture.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in a related field.
  • 5+ years of Scrum Master experience or equivalent education/experience.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Atlassian tools.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and Microsoft Office, including MS Project.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills across all staff levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Scrum Master certification and prior Agile experience in the federal space.

Responsibilities

  • Plan time-boxed sprint planning and execution.
  • Schedule and conduct daily scrums, backlog reviews, and retrospectives with the team.
  • Provide project information regularly and document team agreements and plans.
  • Create a positive team environment focused on quality deliverables.
  • Proactively resolve conflicts and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Conduct meetings with clients to gather necessary project information.
  • Support team capabilities and quality assurance activities.
  • Perform general project management tasks as needed.
  • Train new team members on Agile development and SAFe methodologies.
  • Act as a liaison between development teams and product management.
  • Identify and resolve impediments that hinder development progress.
  • Motivate teams to fulfill their responsibilities for all aspects of project work.
  • Provide reporting based on team capacity and performance.
