About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a Project Task Manager / Environmental Professional (Geologist, Environmental Scientist, or Engineer) to join the team. As a Project Task Manager, you will collaborate with a dynamic and growing team to support projects through all phases of the site evaluation and remediation life cycle. This role is ideal for an ambitious individual seeking career growth in environmental consulting and the environmental remediation market. The Project Task Manager will have the opportunity to develop and refine a wide range of essential skills that serve as the foundation for a successful career in the environmental industry. In this full-time position, you will contribute to environmental investigation, remediation, and permitting projects, working across multiple projects and supporting various project managers. Your responsibilities will include both fieldwork and office-based tasks, encompassing a diverse range of activities related to environmental investigation and remediation. This role will sit within the larger Global Resilience Business Area. We work to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in the environmental industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Previous experience with environmental sampling, technical report writing and data evaluation
  • Strong focus on health and safety, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Texas and New Mexico State environmental regulations
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (with 8-hour annual refresher, if applicable)

Responsibilities

  • Field/Office Work will knowledge and experience with: Installation of groundwater monitoring wells, well abandonment, soil borings, site investigations, groundwater monitoring, and other field-based tasks.
  • Health and Safety Stewardship: Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Client, Regulatory, and Stakeholder Interaction: Communicating effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Data Collection and Evaluation: Supporting the development of conceptual site models, delineating the nature and extent of contamination, and contributing to the design, modification, or optimization of site remedies.
  • Technical Documentation: Writing and reviewing technical reports.
  • Coordination: Helping to organize work schedules with Arcadis staff and subcontractors.

  • The salary range for this position is $62,120- $99,392.
  • Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
