About The Position

ESP Associates, Inc. (ESP) is seeking a Project Surveyor for oversight of surveying projects to support the office in Raleigh, NC (Morrisville). Requirements

Licensure as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in North Carolina, preferred.
5 or more years of progressive experience in surveying management in residential/commercial development preferred.
Candidate will be expected to possess strong self-motivational and organizational skills, experience with survey computations and platting using Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and ArcGIS as well as field experience with Trimble Survey field equipment.
Computer skills involve survey data management using Trimble or Android devices.
Thorough working knowledge of GPS required.
Candidate must pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company's driving (MVR) policy.

Nice To Haves

Land Development survey experience required with emphasis on land development projects a plus.
Experience with following programs preferred: Civil 3D 2016 or higher, Google Earth, Trimble Business Center and Microsoft Word & Excel.
Experience with the following equipment preferred: Trimble data collection, GPS receivers, robotic total stations
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Google Earth and IT a plus.

Responsibilities

Candidate will be required to demonstrate strong self-motivational and organizational skills, experience with survey computations and platting as well as field experience required.
Initiate and maintain contact with key personnel and officials of organizations and companies.
Plan, organize and supervise survey crews, technicians and other staff members.
Administer contracts and manage projects, interpret, organize, execute and coordinate assignments. Schedule and assign work to meet completion date.
Land Development survey experience required with emphasis on land development projects a plus.
Experience with following programs preferred: Civil 3D 2016 or higher, Google Earth, Trimble Business Center and Microsoft Word & Excel.
Experience with the following equipment preferred: Trimble data collection, GPS receivers, robotic total stations
Computer skills involved in the submittal of daily files including downloading of data, preparation/organization of field sketches & digital photographs, completion of daily checklists are required.
