About The Position
McLaughlin Research Corporation (MRC) is seeking a Project Support Specialist who will support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport RI. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport is the United States Navy's full-spectrum research, development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support center for submarines, autonomous underwater systems, and offensive and defensive weapons systems associated with undersea warfare. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, schedule driven environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide support to Department leadership and in coordination across the broader NUWC Newport organization.
- Assist in researching, interpreting, and applying all relevant laws, directives, standards, and regulations to Department facilities and programs.
- Support the development and implementation of departmental Safety and Security strategies and processes.
