You’ll be at the helm of major capital projects, ensuring they adhere to agreed-upon cost, schedule, and performance metrics. Collaborate with vendors to specify equipment and design assets for new production lines within existing facilities or new ones

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Possess 4 - 7 years of experience in technical engineering or leading capital projects.
  • PLC and HMI programming experience with Rockwell suite of products
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, especially on potentially ambiguous projects
  • Capital management experience

Nice To Haves

  • Drive the adoption of new technology platforms within manufacturing plants
  • Experience managing multi-faceted projects, catering to senior level stakeholders
  • Comfortability with hands-on installations and construction tasks.
  • Lean Practitioner certification or experience utilizing Lean tools
  • SAP experience
  • Wonderware experience

Responsibilities

  • Scope and recommend projects aimed at cost reduction and sustainability
  • Investigate process and equipment issues, providing recommendation for corrective measures.
  • Apply sound engineering principles to all aspects of your work.
  • Actively participate in multifunctional project teams, overseeing capital projects from concept to asset installation and start-up
  • Engage in Lean events to drive rapid process improvements.
  • Mentor and develop engineers and maintenance personnel, sharing technical and engineering best practices.
