About The Position

The Project Specialist will provide operational and administrative support to the DTE EEA Program that SEEL Manages. Under the direction of the Program Manager, this key position within the EEA team will support varying program needs including, but not limited to operational support, outreach coordination, and administrative support. Some of the key tasks will be in-take and validation of EEA customers, researching and resolving EEA Customer Escalations, the creation and submission of rebate incentives, and the scheduling of Whole Home Assessments. This is a pivotal position to a growing program and will work directly with the program manager in a collaborative manner to learn various aspects of the program to help support operational and administrative excellence.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years’ experience working with Microsoft Excel
  • Customer/Client Focus.
  • Technical Capacity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong detail orientation, analytical and general business skills - Problem Solving/Analysis.
  • Ability to anticipate challenges, plan for solutions and garner the support needed to make deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and flexibility to change priorities.
  • Interest in working within a collaborative team to test ideas on the fly.
  • Be able to work well independently, manage time effectively, be self‐directed and able to write original content as well as refine and compile information from appropriate boilerplate and technical documents.
  • Ability to prioritize activities, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks, from program planning to client meetings.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business, or environmental science. Associates considered with 3 years of experience.
  • Energy Efficiency Experience
  • Experience in supporting program support.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the principal point of contact for EEA customer escalations and document all encounters and interactions.
  • Serve as the principal point of contact for Whole Home Assessment scheduling for the entire EEA Program.
  • Configure, compile, maintain, and submit incentive rebate applications into the OIT system.
  • Assist with supporting the day-to-day program operations and communication to external and internal assessors and contractors.
  • Support Pilot initiatives; create, update and maintain spreadsheets for proper reporting.
  • Manage program tasks with minimal oversight; work with team members to share information and resources; update, maintain, and develop dashboards and reports for our clients and executive team.
  • Help program management meet KPI’s with process improvements and project support.
