Project Sales Location: Mankato, MN Total Compensation for this position includes base salary, commissions, and full benefits package offerings. We are seeking a dedicated Project Sales professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to prepare on-time, competitive, and accurate quotes for customers, while maintaining relationships with key vendors and partners. You will play a key role in supporting bid proposal strategy, value-added service offering, and quotation follow up.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma/GED.
  • Proven experience in negotiation skills with strong math aptitude.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Communication skills: ability to build relationships and conduct critical conversations with vendors, customers and associates (virtually/in-person)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble lighting and/or power distribution systems for both plan and spec and design build projects.
  • Compile and analyze information from vendors, determining appropriate pricing, and using discretion to maximize profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Conduct critical conversations and negotiations effectively.
  • Utilize MS Office Suite for documentation, reporting, and communication.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements.
