About The Position
TEKsystems is currently seeking a Project/Program Manager with strong Data Center and Network Operations project experience for a 1-year + contract located 5-days on-site per week in Seattle, Washington. -PMP -Data Center and Network Operations focused Project Management experience Description Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program. May require a bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant IT Discipline.
- 5+ years of project management experience.
- 5+ years of Data Center and/or Network Deployment experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in deploying/operations in Layer 2/Layer 3 networks including DWDM, load balancers, and content delivery networks.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience in the management of complex technology infrastructure projects.
- Experience with and deep understanding of multiple project management methodologies.
- 5+ years’ experience in Physical fiber plant OSP/ISP.
- Excellent multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.
