Requirements

  • Associate's degree in drafting/design or equivalent technical experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a designer in a relevant industry
  • 3D design of process and utility system piping
  • Specification and modeling of 3D piping and equipment
  • Integration and management of multi-party 3D models for project use
  • Application of piping standards and component specifications in P&IDs
  • Coordination of design packages across multiple disciplines and vendors
  • Creation of mechanical/process details, 2D piping plans, elevations, and isometrics from 3D models or 2D files

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in the consumer products, food, and/or beverage industries

Responsibilities

  • Design piping and process systems for a variety of consumer goods, food, and beverage projects
  • Develop and maintain process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) reviews of design and drawing packages
  • Collaborate closely with contractors, vendors, and clients as part of a multidisciplinary project team
  • Participate in site visits for project meetings and field data collection (up to 20% travel annually)
