Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution; advanced degrees or additional certifications are a plus.
Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam preferred.
Experience or internship in construction materials, mining, or quality control is a bonus—but we value passion and drive above all.
Analytical powerhouse with a talent for innovative problem-solving.
Confident communicator—both in writing and in person—who can make technical details clear and engaging.
Meticulous and organized, able to juggle multiple projects and adapt to evolving priorities.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and a quick study with new technology.
Collaborative spirit with a professional, positive attitude.
Dedication to regulatory compliance (OSHA/MSHA, Federal, and State laws), personal safety, and environmental stewardship.
Reliable, punctual, and ready to roll up your sleeves, whether in the office, lab, plant, or on-site.
Flexibility to work overtime, nights, weekends, and travel as needed to meet project demands.

Responsibilities

Tackle challenges related to material science, production techniques, and environmental sustainability.
Optimize ready-mix concrete and asphalt, streamlining everything from raw material selection to plant performance and logistics.
Analyze project documentation, ensuring material compliance and crafting clear, compelling submittals for aggregates, asphalt, and concrete.
Collaborate with Quality Control and Environmental Teams to uphold the highest standards in safety, operations, and regulatory compliance.
Design and manage plant improvement initiatives—your ideas will shape tomorrow's best practices.
Engage in general surveying, inventory management, and reserve analysis, ensuring our projects are built to last.
Participate in inspections, ensuring every process meets or exceeds environmental, safety, and health standards.
Foster a safe, inclusive work environment where professionalism and collaboration are the norm.
