About The Position

As a Project Manager at Nuvotronics, a Polystrata organization, you will be responsible for executing small to medium projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes managing & prioritizing resources, coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants, and ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction, and incumbents will regularly exercise discretionary and decision-making authority associated with the overarching project.

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree plus 5 years related experience.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, interface with internal stakeholders, subcontractors and vendors, and deal with employees and managers at all levels in manufacturing, engineering and other departments.
  • Must be able to work under project deadline pressures, and associated cost and schedule constraints.
  • Considerable knowledge in the planning and management of key aspects of engineering design activities and manufacturing process.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Project.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a DOD Security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Understand full project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Execute comprehensive project plans and schedules, including detailed timelines and milestones.
  • Coordinate and lead multiple project teams, ensuring that tasks are completed as planned.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports and presentations.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans.
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
  • Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle, adhering to standards and best practices.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to facilitate project success.
  • Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, making adjustments as necessary.
