Midnight Sun is seeking an on-site Project Manager in support of a federal contract providing Animal Husbandry Support services to the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) at Research Triangle Park in Durham, North Carolina. The Project Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive oversight of all project operations and personnel matters in support of the contract, ensuring all contractual requirements and deliverables are met in a timely and compliant manner. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. The Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between the client and the company, facilitating clear communication and coordinated execution of project objectives. This position is designated as Essential Personnel and requires reporting to work during inclement weather or emergency events, or providing coverage on nights and weekends, as needed or directed. Background : The Animal Husbandry Support Contract for NIEHS provides care, maintenance, and technical services for laboratory animals, seven days per week, including weekends and holidays, for 72,000+ square feet of laboratory animal facility space, which includes outside ancillary support areas, including a separate facility located approximately one mile from the main facility. Midnight Sun supports the care and maintenance of the animals, the sanitation of equipment, technical training, and the general maintenance of the facilities in such a manner to maintain the highest level of Accreditation from the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care, International (AAALAC).
