About The Position

We’re thrilled that you are interested in joining us here at the Amynta Group! We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Project Coordinator to support key executives of a growing insurance MGA. This hybrid role blends traditional executive administrative support with hands-on project coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both high-level executive interaction and operational execution. The right candidate is detail-oriented, discreet, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 2+ years of commercial underwriting experience or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of underwriting philosophy, processes, and practice
  • Extensive experience in the insurance industry ideally within an underwriting, broking, relationship management or sales role
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking skills with great attention to details
  • Individually accountable
  • Effective relationship management skills with customer focused approach
  • Ability to develop tactical underwriting plan and execute on its implementation
  • Ability to work independently for significant periods of time
  • Strong business development and communication skills
  • Property & Casualty Agent’s license in residing state, or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

  • Track and coordinate internal projects across departments (e.g., operations, underwriting, compliance, IT)
  • Monitor timelines, deliverables, and dependencies; follow up to ensure deadlines are met
  • Maintain project documentation, task lists, and status reports
  • Assist executives in prioritizing initiatives and organizing workflows
  • Support implementation of new processes, tools, or initiatives as assigned
  • Prepare agendas, meeting materials, and follow-up action items
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Serve as a key point of contact between executives and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparation of presentations.
  • Assist with correspondence, reports, presentations, and document management
  • Coordinate board meetings, leadership meetings, and executive communications
  • Support key leaders schedules.
  • Responsible for infrastructure management.
