About The Position

We are hiring a Project Manager to support the delivery of commercial solar PV and battery energy storage projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly accountable environment and wants to grow within a company actively building infrastructure for the clean energy transition. You will take ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring strong execution, financial control, and clear communication across all stakeholders. Requirements

  • 2+ years of project management experience in commercial construction
  • Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle, including permitting, inspections, scheduling, procurement, billing, and closeout
  • Experience managing project budgets and identifying cost variances
  • Working knowledge of MEP systems and building permit processes
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Smartsheet
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
  • Must be local to and able to work onsite in the Monterey Bay Area

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in solar, battery storage, MEP, or technical infrastructure projects preferred
  • Experience with Jonas Premier is a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of commercial solar and battery storage projects from permitting through closeout
  • Oversee project execution across contracts, scheduling, procurement, construction coordination, and final handoff
  • Manage project financials, including billing, cost tracking, budget forecasting, and regular financial reviews
  • Coordinate subcontractors and support procurement and buyout efforts
  • Lead or support construction meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders
  • Manage RFIs, change orders, and project documentation across all phases
  • Support preconstruction efforts, including RFP/RFQ responses and estimating coordination
  • Maintain accurate, organized project records across internal systems
