This job manages the entire life-cycle of a specific project. Assigns personnel to various projects; directs or coordinates their activities; interfaces activities of development team with all other departments and vendors; prepares activity and progress reports; and provides general consulting and problem solving services. Acts a single point of contact for various departments to ensure coordination among the departments and maintain overall responsibility for project deliverables while upholding project management standards and best practices. Requirements

  • Education Required - Bachelor’s degree.
  • Work Experience Required - 5 years of relevant experience including 3 years of supervisory or project management experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • P roficiency in various office software packages, including but not limited to Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent judgment, decision-making, delegating and leadership skills.
  • Analytical skills and ability to demonstrate a logical through process in order to formulate practical solutions to problems.
  • Positive interpersonal skills and ability to effectively and professionally work with people from all backgrounds.
  • Ability to travel throughout and between facilities and work variable schedule, such as nights, evenings, weekends, holidays, extended shifts, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Manages all facets of assigned project(s).
  • Ensures the project supports organizational and departmental goals.
  • Gathers and analyzes information to prepare status reports.
  • Maintains and enhances professional competency.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
