What You’ll Do As Project Manager, you'll take full ownership of sign installation projects, ensuring they are planned thoroughly, executed efficiently, and completed to Mustang Signs' high standards for quality and safety.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing construction, signage, or installation-based projects
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination skills
• Ability to anticipate problems and solve them proactively
• Professional communication skills with both clients and internal teams
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• A leadership mindset grounded in accountability and follow-through

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Scheduling Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and installation schedules
• Define scope and requirements in collaboration with internal teams
• Coordinate subcontractors, equipment rentals, and labor to ensure on-time completion
• Proactively adjust timelines to address material delays, site conditions, or scope changes
• Forecast labor and equipment needs to prevent bottlenecks and exceed customer expectations
• Budget & Cost Control Track all project related expenses including materials, labor, rentals, and subcontractor fees
• Approve purchase orders and manage costs to align with budget expectations
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or quality
• Client & Key Stakeholder Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage expectations, clarify design changes, and facilitate approvals
• Address concerns quickly and professionally while maintaining strong client relationships
• Field Coordination & Quality Oversight Collaborate with installation crews to ensure work aligns with plans and standards
• Provide guidance when site challenges arise
• Resolve field issues efficiently to maintain project momentum
• Conduct post installation reviews to drive continuous improvement
• Permitting, Compliance & Documentation Ensure all required permits and approvals are secured prior to installation
• Coordinate with local authorities, inspectors, and property managers for code compliance
• Maintain organized project documentation including contracts, drawings, permits, and reports
• Track performance metrics such as schedule adherence, budget performance, and client satisfaction
