About The Position

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful implementation and execution of Blueport's technology solutions. This detail-oriented position coordinated the planning, estimating, scheduling, ordering, installation, and follow-up stages for both new projects and upgrades. The Project Manager maintains and updates status logs on simultaneous technology projects and contributes to progress reports for clients and management. Requirements

  • BS or BA degree in relevant filed or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 year experience within a project management role
  • Proficient in organizing tasks for self and others
  • Highly resourceful, Methodical, and a practical problem solver with strong interpersonal skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office
  • Basic Layer 1 and Layer 2 networking knowledge
  • Prior subcontractor management and budget analysis

Nice To Haves

  • Background in IT and/or Hospitality technology preferred
  • Understanding of BICSI standards is an advantage
  • Experience with ConnectWise Manage or similar is a plus

Responsibilities

  • As the primary customer liaison, the Project Manager ensures that all project objectives, timeframes, and budget goals are met.
  • Manager installation scheduling, reporting and follow-up, including assigning tasks items to team members. tracking requests, and updating the overall project as needed.
  • Coordinate communications between multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Assist with technical quality assurance and other go-live support as part of implementation services
  • Identifies opportunities to improve project results, communications and operating efficiencies
  • Installing wireless computing networks, connections and cabling
  • Performing upgrades and maintenance in live environments
  • Testing, configuring, installing and documenting network equipment software and hardware
  • Participate in internal project management meetings
  • Travel required both locally and throughout the U.S.
  • Work onsite in our Walpole Office daily (not a remote position)
