Our team is seeking a Project Manager to work onsite supporting projects for our aviation client in San Francisco, CA. This client-facing role requires the successful candidate to support the airport’s capital program, operations, and sustainability services. Requirements

  • Experience managing larger, complex projects.
  • Effective delegation to project management teams.
  • Knowledge of procurement, RFP development, bid evaluation, and public contract award processes.
  • Resourceful project management under compressed timeframes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in Project Management or Construction Management.
  • Experience working on airport or municipal projects.

  • Airport renovation/retrofit experience including systems upgrades (IT, data integration, BMS).
  • Facility condition assessments and asset management systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management Serve as on-site point of contact for utility management and energy projects Manage client expectations and stakeholder communications with clarity and proactive updates
  • Project Planning and Scope Management Develop Project Management Plan, fee budget, and action plans at project outset and align with stakeholders Manage contract scope and recommend adjustments as necessary Ensure project design management aligns with budget, scope, schedule, and client standards Evaluate documents and communicate the client’s specific goals and expectations to all project team members
  • Budget and Contract Management Prepare cost and revenue projections Manage budget development and monitor variance Coordinate with cost management group on estimates, cost studies, and budget reconciliation Value engineer to identify savings opportunities and validate material substitutions Manage contract and claim negotiations
  • Process and Schedule Management Organize and maintain project team processes and document management Lead design management, procurement, construction, fit-out, and closeout phases
