About The Position

The Project Manager position is a full-time, exempt position that works in our Sandy, Utah Headquarters office that reports to the Director, Project Management. The person in this position manages information-system projects (IT Department) by designing complex specification for user applications.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer information systems or related field.
At least two years of experience managing software development, design and implementation projects.
Thorough knowledge of electronic computer-programming design and analysis.
Demonstrated skills in leadership, communications, customer relations, organization, and creative thinking.

Responsibilities

Coordinate integration of computer applications to meet business needs and enhance program efficiencies.
Assign, coordinate and monitor work of technical personnel, ensuring that project steps are aligned with business objectives, schedule and budget.
Adjust project priorities as needed to accommodate unforeseen business needs and changing technology.
Participate in department budgeting process.
Conduct meetings to coordinate all information-systems effectors.
Budget, plan, and coordinate internal customers' needs and completion of IT projects.
Provide formalized, continuing work direction, and leadership to assigned team of information-systems staff, including the scheduling, assignment, and review of project work.
Accountable for the appropriateness, applicability, and quality of each aspect of the project.
Oversee communication among all parties.
Manage the prioritization of tasks and projects, to improve the design and testing process and eliminate post-implementation problems.
