About The Position

Serve as the Project Manager for DAWSONs Facilities Operations, Maintenance, and Support Services contract supporting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) at Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina. The Project Manager is responsible for overall contract management and performance in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This role provides leadership for facilities operations, preventive maintenance, repair, and construction-related activities while serving as the primary interface with EPA Contracting and technical representatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience with responsible oversight of maintenance and operation of large or multiple facilities with highly complex mechanical, electrical, and structural requirements , including construction management .
  • North Carolina General Contractors license .
  • Demonstrated experience managing facilities operations and maintenance contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity.
  • Proven ability to manage personnel, schedules, subcontractors, and multiple concurrent work activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface with Government personnel.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain access to EPA facilities.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Contingent upon contract award.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact with the EPA Contracting Officer (CO), Contracting Officers Representative (COR), and other designated Government officials.
  • Provide overall management, supervision, coordination, and execution of all contract requirements in accordance with the PWS and applicable task orders.
  • Plan, schedule, direct, and control facilities operations and maintenance activities across multiple EPA RTP facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with all contract requirements, safety standards, quality control procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Oversee staffing, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and allocation of resources to ensure effective and timely service delivery.
  • Manage performance of key personnel and site staff to ensure consistent, compliant, and high-quality execution of work.
  • Oversee development, implementation, and maintenance of required management and quality control processes.
  • Monitor contract performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Coordinate preparation, execution, and closeout of task orders in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Ensure required reports, documentation, and deliverables are prepared accurately and submitted on time.
  • Maintain effective communication with DAWSON leadership, site personnel, subcontractors, and EPA stakeholders.
