About The Position

HD Fowler Company is looking for a Project Manager to join the team at our Spanish Fork, UT branch location. The Project Manager will manage all aspects of multiple customer projects. This position will act as a liaison between branch management and service providers/consultants, and report to senior management on facilities related matters. Responsibilities may also include backup responsibilities for one or more outside sales staff, assisting with branch customer service needs, and/or estimating work.

Requirements

  • Extensive and relevant industry knowledge and experience
  • Must be comfortable with blueprints and able to do basic estimating and complete take-offs
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasker and decision-maker
  • Available to work overtime when necessary and/or required

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and gather information for submittals, quotes, and job tracking
  • Prepare individual project management plans that include scope, schedule, budget and variance tracking systems and ensure successful project completion and occupancy of operational functions
  • Support customers and outside sales staff in writing orders, managing jobs and pending orders, and/or coordinating customer receipt of product
  • Understand and apply matrix pricing, as well as product specifications and requirements
  • Direct and coordinate internal and external resources and project teams to ensure the highest level of coordinated success
  • Continuous and proactive learning about product and material application
  • Purchase, coordinate, and deliver materials to job site
  • Regularly evaluate project goals, identify opportunities and constraints, and analyze life-cycle cost considerations and possible alternatives as required
  • Comply with all procedural expectations and safety standards
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
