About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager with Shopify Plus experience to plan, execute, and deliver projects that drive measurable value for the organization. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned projects, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and quality, while ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to guide cross-functional teams through the full project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, IT, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience managing projects of varying size and complexity.
  • 3+ years of software of eCommerce project management experience, with direct exposure to Shopify Plus
  • Proven success managing Shopify Plus builds
  • Familiarity with common Shopify Plus integrations (payments, subscriptions, fulfillment, CRM/ERP)
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, or similar).

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2 certification.
  • Experience managing technology, business transformation, or process improvement projects.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Initiation Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and create mitigation strategies.
  • Execution & Delivery Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of project objectives.
  • Monitor progress against plans, adjusting resources and priorities as needed.
  • Manage scope changes, ensuring proper impact analysis and stakeholder approval.
  • Ensure quality standards and compliance requirements are met.
  • Stakeholder & Team Management Serve as the primary point of contact for project communications and updates.
  • Facilitate project meetings, status reporting, and executive updates.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment across business, technical, and vendor teams.
  • Build and foster a collaborative team culture, motivating team members to achieve success.
  • Governance, Reporting & Risk Management Maintain project documentation, including charters, plans, reports, and lessons learned.
  • Track and report project performance metrics (cost, schedule, scope, and benefits realization).
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve issues and risks impacting delivery.
  • Support project governance processes, including steering committees and stage gate reviews.
  • Financial & Resource Management Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
  • Ensure efficient use of resources, escalating capacity needs where necessary.
  • Partner with Finance and Portfolio/Program Managers on tracking benefits and ROI.
