About The Position

Our client, a leading energy company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee large-scale engineering and construction projects valued between $200M-$1.5B. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead cross-functional teams through complex energy infrastructure projects from field execution through commissioning and startup.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline
  • 3+ years managing engineering projects from design through implementation
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
  • Strong project management fundamentals (scope, schedule, budget, risk)
  • Understanding of engineering design processes and technical specifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Solar PV and/or Battery Energy Storage Systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of project execution for major energy infrastructure projects
  • Manage cross-functional teams including Development, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction
  • Oversee safety management, contract administration, and regulatory compliance
  • Drive cost management, schedule optimization, and quality assurance
  • Lead commissioning and startup activities for new facilities
  • Serve as primary company representative with regulatory agencies and stakeholders
  • Approve payments and change orders with unlimited authorization authority
  • Coordinate supplier/vendor relationships for cost reduction initiatives
  • Manage project documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communications
