About The Position

The Project Manager is fully responsible for preparing and/or coordinating the preparation of full quantity estimates as required by customer documents and includes:

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, college degree preferred
Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office programs
Demonstrated ability to meet internal and external client commitments and timelines
Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
Must be able to work under tight deadlines
Demonstrated ability to manage time, resources and workload
Extremely accurate and must be able to monitor own work & work of others
Must be able to multi-task and manage competing demands and is able to manage multiple jobs/tasks simultaneously, with frequent changes, delays and unexpected events

Responsibilities

Establish performance timelines, delivery criteria, and coordinate installers
Contacting contractors, architects and designers to resolve issues with drawings or specifications after initial estimate
Working with manufacturer representatives to determine special product needs or requirements
Working independently and with fellow associates to determine necessary materials and quantities
Review construction documents and scope of work including specifications
Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the project life cycle
Effectively manage project scope by ensuring changes to scope are documented and approved with project change request forms
Track and report on project timelines, milestones, budgets and provide status reports to management
Determine how results will be measured and complete a post-project evaluation to determine how well results were achieved compared to estimate
Act as mediator between general contractor and Winn Tile employees
Using Callidus estimating software to prepare quantity analysis for material orders
