About The Position

Another Source's client, Sabey Construction, Inc. (SCI), is recruiting a Project Manager to play a key role in expanding their team in Umatilla, OR. As Sabey continues to invest in large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure, these newly created roles offer the opportunity to lead complex data center construction projects from the ground up and help shape the future of a rapidly growing campus. As a Project Manager, you will lead the execution of complex, mission-critical construction projects, overseeing everything from early planning and budgeting through commissioning and closeout. You’ll play a central role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget—while maintaining the high standards that define Sabey’s work. This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact role supporting the continued growth of Sabey’s Umatilla operations. You’ll collaborate closely with internal leadership, design partners, contractors, and clients while helping drive innovation and efficiency across large-scale data center builds.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 4+ years of construction project management experience
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project delivery processes
  • Knowledge of complex mechanical and electrical systems (e.g., UPS, standby power, HVAC systems)
  • Experience with construction management and scheduling software
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and estimating
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Interest in leveraging emerging technologies, including AI tools, to improve workflows

  • Experience with mission-critical infrastructure or data center environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Managing large, complex critical infrastructure construction projects from concept through completion
  • Developing and maintaining detailed project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities and driving financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle
  • Leading coordination across design teams, contractors, subcontractors, and trade partners
  • Overseeing bid processes, negotiating change orders, and managing payment applications
  • Ensuring compliance with building codes, FM Global standards, and project specifications
  • Supporting commissioning efforts and integrated systems testing for mission-critical environments
  • Developing and enforcing Methods of Procedures (MOPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Facilitating project meetings with internal teams, external partners, and clients
  • Promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture across all job sites
  • Mentoring and supervising Project Engineers and Project Administrators
