About The Position

Versar Global Solutions is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill a position for a Project Manager at Soto Cano Air Base in Palmerola, Honduras in support of the Base Operations Support requirement. This position is contingent upon award.  This is an On-Site position, not Remote.

Requirements

  • Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date
  • Must maintain a valid passport from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date. Passport must have a minimum of 6 blank pages prior to OCONUS mobilization. 
  • Must satisfy the pre-deployment medical requirements for the assigned location prior to OCONUS mobilization and must be able to maintain a Medically Qualified (MQ) rating on an annual basis. 
  • Must be CAC eligible and able to gain and maintain authorized entry onto US military installations.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in base support management or management of contracts with over 100 employees, multiple service lines, and a value of $4M per year or higher
  • Must currently have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited College or University
  • Must currently possess, or be eligible for, a SECRET clearance
  • Current legal residency of the United States or Honduras is required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing work order systems, preventive maintenance programs, and multi-discipline service delivery is preferred.
  • Formalized training or demonstrated experience in facilities management, infrastructure operations, or BASOPS-related disciplines preferred.
  • Spanish language skills are preferred but not required.
  • Proactive nature and strong interpersonal skills in collaborating, communicating, and working with (1) Other senior managers and staff, (2) Local staff and subcontractors; (3) US Military representatives; and (4) Local officials as required.
  • Duties may involve work outdoors with a potential exposure to tropical climatic conditions
  • Scheduled work hours up to 72 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the Contractor’s primary authority for all contract matters, responsible for full-scope Base Operations Support (BASOPS) service delivery across facilities operations, utilities, grounds and infrastructure, environmental compliance, and logistics support.
  • Oversees all personnel, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and management systems required to execute the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
  • Manages the complete work management system, including Preventive Maintenance Orders (PMO), Demand Maintenance Orders (DMO), Operational Work Orders (OWO), and Project Work Orders (PWO), ensuring proper categorization, prioritization, tracking, and closure.
  • Enforces priority-based response standards (Emergency, Urgent, Routine) and ensures timely execution aligned with mission impact.
  • Ensures proper governance of Project Work Orders, including scope validation, cost development, schedule control, funding alignment, and lifecycle management from submission through closure.
  • Maintains and synchronizes preventive maintenance schedules, work order schedules, and execution timelines to ensure compliance with required performance standards.
  • Develops, implements, and enforces the Quality Control Plan (QCP), maintains inspection records, and ensures all work meets contractual Acceptable Quality Levels (AQLs).
  • Ensures accurate reporting, historical data submission, and all contract deliverables, maintaining full visibility of performance and work status.
  • Serves as the primary interface with the KO, COR, DPW/BOID, and coordinates permits, facility access, outages, and operational requirements.
  • Ensures compliance with installation access procedures, environmental regulations, safety requirements, spill response protocols, and asbestos management program elements.
  • Follows all VGS standard policies and practices.
