About The Position

Wilo USA LLC is a subsidiary of Wilo SE, which is headquartered in Dortmund, Germany. Wilo is a leading manufacturer of pumps & pump systems for water & wastewater treatment, potable water distribution, pressure boosting, and sewage collection. Wilo USA acquired Weil Pump and Scot Pump in 2017, American-Marsh Pumps in 2019, and QuantumFlo in October 2021. We are seeking a star Project Manager Engineer who plays a critical role in supporting the Water Management Sales Team by organizing, coordinating, and driving contract execution, special orders, and project initiatives from start to finish. This role ensures all contractual requirements are proactively managed, project milestones are achieved, and customer expectations are met through strong collaboration, attention to detail, and disciplined project oversight. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and brings a solutions-oriented mindset to delivering projects on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
2+ years of experience preferred
Advanced skill with SolidWorks 3D Modeling, and advanced skill with 2D AutoCAD
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
Actively works to minimize complexity
Good organizational skills, being able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Work effectively under pressure, individually as well as part of a cross-functional team, among different facets of the organization
Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of SAP ERP Environmental preferred
Knowledgeable of machining and fabrication processes and pumps
HVAC / Hydronic systems knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

Responsible for managing Water Management contracts or special project functions from purchase order acceptance through shipment, and field service commissioning.
Review and establish critical path management methods to ensure prompt, thorough fulfillment of commercial and material requirements while maintaining budget.
Lead and conduct cross-functional team and planning meetings.
Preparation and control of project submittal packages in line with company policy.
Preparation of accurate operating and maintenance manuals.
Responsible for maintaining precise project drawings in all formats.
Collaboration and task completion are necessary to support the WM Sales Tools software. Aftermarket Research projects as directed.
Assist Product Management and Production in AutoCAD drawings of the Wilo product for accuracy, both the dimensional and physical shape.
Assist and provide support to Order Management, Customer Service, and field sales to accomplish all customer expectations.
