Job Description PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Leads the deployment of new processes across multiple company locations Supports project owners on project scoping and business case development Develops and maintains project timelines to ensure successful project execution; tracks and manages project execution against timeline, revising as appropriate, to meet changing project needs and requirements Analyzes risk, issues, and opportunities, and takes proactive measures to resolve project issues as they arise Identifies critical path project activities, and support risk mitigation actions to ensure the program remains on track as issues arise Works with cross functional teams and business leadership to lead and manage strategic projects from inception throughout the life cycle to completion Monitors project performance against commitments from the project charter, and provides internal updates regarding status and other key metrics related to the assigned projects Facilitates discussion with all stake holders in a positive and proactive manner Supports executive and team gate reviews as project milestones dictate Understands standard project management best practices (i.e. team meetings, risk and issue mitigation, attention to detail, schedule development, etc.) Demonstrates the ability to solve complex problems using root-cause countermeasure, or other related methodology ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field. 4 years project management experience of medium to large New Product Development, capital, business transformation, or IS projects. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools. Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project work teams using applied principles of project management. Demonstrated ability to understand complex business processes (manufacturing, product development, order to cash, marketing, costing, and information systems related). Ability to travel up to 40% of the time depending on current project portfolio.
