About The Position

Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. Collaborate with key stakeholders to determine project scope and deliverables that support business goals. Acquire resources and coordinate the efforts of team members and vendors in order to deliver projects according to plan. Serve as the primary resource for Project Management software implementation and administration.

Requirements

  • Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
  • Education: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
  • Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications; understanding of databases.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project or other project planning & management software tool.
  • Knowledge of CU functions & departments, and interactions between primary systems, vendors, and software.
  • Able to diagram and analyze work flows and processes.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
  • Language Skills: Able to read, analyze, and interpret common technical resources.
  • Able to effectively present information to Management and internal work groups.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of legal contracts.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP Certification preferred.
  • Banking and/or Credit Union experience a plus.
  • PMP Certification and/or Agile experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist department management with the development of a company-wide Project Management workflow.
  • Help prepare educational materials/presentations for CUA staff to encourage an understanding of PMO workflow, language, and expectations.
  • Help establish a department reporting plan for project data, issues, and outcomes.
  • Serve as the main administrator of the Monday.com [//Monday.com] platform.
  • Identify use cases within the Project Management workflow; work with department staff to create best practices.
  • Identify other applicable use cases within the credit union.
  • Form and maintain a collaborative, creative, and cohesive PMO team.
  • Determine project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals.
  • Proactively identify project risks and define mitigation plans.
  • Ensure project-related tasks are completed in an effective and timely fashion.
  • Keep projects on schedule.
  • Facilitate change control as needed.
  • Ensure project contracts process through Vendor Management/due diligence and receive proper sign-off from all necessary parties.
  • Facilitate any discussions needed to obtain requested contract changes, vendor documentation, or other items needed to secure contract signing.
  • Collaborate and build good working relationships with vendors and business units.
  • Facilitate cordial, productive communication between PMO, business units, and vendors.
  • Provide periodic project tracking and status reporting to department management.
  • Participate in regular department meetings to review and discuss status reports with PMO personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Employees shall be trained annually, demonstrate an understanding of, and follow the requirements of the BSA/AML Compliance Program as it specifically relates to their job functions.
